Meet Thor! Thor is one of the owners of HMT Engineering & Surveying and our fearless leader. His experience has spanned more than two decades, and he's led HMT for almost as long. Thor has a passion for supporting non-profits around town and has served on multiple boards. He implemented VTO (volunteer time off) for our team to engage and serve our local community. The communities we serve are a huge part of the work we do. Thor's vision and passion are the heartbeats that align our team to drive the mission forward. Our adventure and ownership core values guide our determination to be involved in and impact our local communities through volunteerism. Our team volunteered with Adopt-a-Highway last Saturday to collect trash and beautify the local roadsides. Let's keep New Braunfels beautiful!

A few of our team members took the day to represent HMT at the recent Schertz Cibolo University City ISD Education Foundation's annual golf tournament. Funds raised help with student scholarships and education-related projects. A great education is the foundation for success and we're proud to support our local ISDs!

Practical Engineering recently released a video about installing a pipeline under railroads. It's a pretty cool and informative video, but if you look closely you'll also see our team members in a couple of places throughout the video. Our Surveyors have experience monitoring railroad tracks according to Union Pacific track and ground monitoring guidelines. We partner with companies on construction projects to get the job done on schedule.
